Microsoft’s Squadwatch app updated, may be called PeopleSense

Squadwatch Windows Phone

Microsoft’s friend tracking app Squadwatch has been updated to version 2015.305.2128.203.

Unfortunately the update comes without a changelog, but it appears users are now able to send an invite to friends via email and text to download the application and join the tracking circle.

image The app is a Microsoft Garage app, but there is some signs that the technology may be integrated in Windows Phone in the future, with the app being called internally the more corporate PeopleSense (based on the supported Cortana voice commands e.g. “PeopleSense what is Mike doing?”) rather than Squadwatch.

The updated app can be found in the Windows Phone Store here.
