The Cortana team has announced improvements to the Cortana Alpha in Italy.
Introduced in Italy in December 2014, the personal digital assistant can now:
- Better interpret the sequential requests as: " Find a Chinese restaurant in Milan "and after receiving the response from Cortana, if you ask" Give me directions to the first , "Cortana not opens the navigation app of your choice with directions to the restaurant.
- Has knowledge about Concerts \ Events and their cost.
- Recognizes some foreign names that a few weeks ago were identified with less precision.
- Her conversational skills are gradually increasing, as well as her repertoire playful (also knows of new jokes).
The Cortana team is on a two weekly schedule of improvements, and we should see these new features become available in other new markets also in due course.
