Microsoft ends advance public notices for Patch Tuesday security bulletins

Microsoft has decided, after over 10 years, to stop offering the public any advance previews of software security bulletins the company plans to release as part of its monthly "Patch Tuesday" event, which happens on the second Tuesday of every month. In a statement, Microsoft said it will continue to offer its Advance Notification Service (ANS) "directly to Premier customers and current organizations involved in our security programs."
