9/18/2014 4:08:27 PM
The Lumia 1520, nearly ten months after release, is still wooing fans around the world. Partially due to its forward-thinking hardware and its unapologetic size, owners of the six-inch phablet tend to be very proud of the gargantuan Windows Phone.
Although full of pride, many Lumia 1520 users also have a sense of humor in regards to wielding such a massive device in public. Take, for instance, the following two videos made by WPCentral Forum member nickniko, which shows some humorous benefits in owning a coveted Lumia 1520.

The budget-friendly Celkon 'Win 400' Windows Phone gets spied in leaked photo
9/18/2014 2:37:55 PM
Usually when it comes to smartphone image leaks, it is the high-end flagships caught in a flash. A few days ago though, Celkon's new Win 400 was spied for the first time on Gizbot revealing its white or black color schemes.
If Celkon does not ring a bell, the company is yet another white-label, budget smartphone maker popular in India and other emerging markets. Back in June, the company came forward with an announcement for supporting Windows Phone, hot on the heels of fellow rival Micromax and Cherry Mobile.

Notion Ink is now making convertibles, launches Windows-powered CAIN 2-in-1 in India
9/18/2014 12:40:10 PM
Snapdeal and Intel today announced the launch of Notion Ink's 'CAIN' 2-in-1. Powered by the Intel Atom Processor Z3735D, the Windows 8.1 convertible is priced at ₹19,990 ($330), and is exclusively available on Snapdeal, India's leading online marketplace.
If the Notion Ink name doesn't ring a bell, you might remember the Bangalore-based company's ill-fated debut in 2010 with the Notion Ink Adam, a tablet that ended up becoming the most overhyped and under-delivered product with controversies and delays over production and shipping.
Monochromatic, a Windows Phone app for the times your photos need a quick fix
9/18/2014 12:37:33 PM
Monochromatic joins the ranks of the many Windows Phone photo editors and hopes to garner some attention with its simple layout and core editing features. Editing tools include cropping, exposure controls, vignette application and a few tonal filters. You also have an in-house camera app just in case you need to snap a quick shot while in the editor.
Monochromatic is not a feature rich editor such as Photoshop Express but the Windows Phone photo editor does come across a nice option when you need to do a quick, simple edit of your images.
