It's hard not to compare the recently launched iPhone 6 Plus to Nokia's phablet, the Lumia 1520. Last week we showed you a size comparison. Today, let's have a camera comparison.
The Lumia 1520 features a 20-megapixel camera with f/2.2 Zeiss lens. The iPhone 6 Plus has an 8-megapixel camera. It also has f/2.2 aperture, but the sensor has larger 1.5-micron pixels compared to 1.2-micron pixels on the Lumia 1520. Which one takes better photos? Let's look at the following camera samples.

After a recent fix for our Windows Phone app, our developer extraordinaire Jay Bennett has turned his attention back to our Windows 8.1 Modern app. Today, a new update is now available and not only do we have the full changelog, we are proud to note it is more than 'bug fixes and general improvements.'
Without a doubt, one of the most requested features is finally here: the ability to set the default accent color of the app by the user. Microsoft now rolling out Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 for Lumia 930

Microsoft has announced that it is rolling out a new software update for the Lumia 930 smartphone, bringing the firmware version number up to 14353 (from 14252) and the OS is now 14157, which is the same as the current Preview for Developers.
For those who may recall, OS 14157 is the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1, meaning users do not need to be enrolled in the Preview program. Besides the HTC One for Windows on Verizon, this is the first official, non-preview phone to get Update 1.

In a grand event at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai today, Microsoft officially launched Xbox One in India, and delivered the first console to its owner.
Xbox One offers a huge exclusive games lineup including Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, and Ryse: Son of Rome. In addition, popular third-party blockbusters will be available on Xbox One with early exclusivity for downloadable content in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, and more.
Chakrapani Gollapali, Country General Manager, Consumer Channels Group also reiterated the company's commitment to provide localized content and announced three new apps on the platform – Bigflix, Gaana, and Hungama providing a wide genre of Indian movie and music content.

Two games from well know mobile developer Vector Unit, Riptide GP2 and Beach Buggy Racing, will be coming to the Windows Phone platform in the coming weeks, according to what the team told a fan on Twitter today.

When products that use the recently finalized USB Type-C connector and cable start launching in smartphones, tablets and notebooks, they will also be able to support DisplayPort audio and video, thanks to a newly announced agreement between the USB 3.0 Promoter Group and the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA).
