Turkish Airlines is the world's fourth-largest carrier in the world by number of destinations and the national flag carrier airline of Turkey. They're huge company and they've finally launched a new app for Windows Phone. The official Turkish Airlines app is available for free in the Windows Phone Store and allows you to buy tickets, check flight status and much more.

There's even more signs that Microsoft could be slowly leaving the "Phone" part of "Windows Phone" behind, at least in terms of marketing and promotion, in the form of two new TV commercials that show both Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone apps being used but with an overall "Windows" app theme.
