9/8/2014 9:53:14 PM

Jawbone is teasing support for Windows Phone that may come as soon as this week. Additionally, Jawbone is preparing to open its UP software to third parties, specifically, to other hardware manufacturers. This means that Jawbone would be able to collect data into its app from rivals like FitBit, as well as smartwatches running Android Wear, and Apple's long-rumored iWatch, according to Re/code.

'Daddy Was A Thief' is now a universal Windows app after a year with iOS and Android
9/8/2014 9:23:35 PM

Released over a year ago on Android and iOS, the game 'Daddy Was A Thief' is now available for Windows Phone too. Since it is a universal app, you can also play it on your Windows tablet or PC. I know everyone cites Bing Weather as his or her go-to app, and with good reason. Assuming, however, you want something different– and the ability to ditch ads – Ambient Weather is my choice these days.

Ambient Weather is not a new app, in fact, I have been using for nearly a year now. However, Ambient Weather has been getting a nice amount of updates lately, and this mini-review is long overdue in highlighting this fantastic app.

Pinpoint is a new addicting game that will test your geographical knowledge
9/8/2014 6:54:28 PM

There's a new location game called Pinpoint on Windows Phone from the team behind Foundbite. As you know, or at least should know, Foundbite is an exclusive Windows Phone app that allows you to capture the atmosphere of a place, event or experience. It does this by combining images with audio to create some cool clips called Foundbites. This new game uses those Foundbites and their location data to make you guess their whereabouts.
