Find out how far you can throw in Javelin Masters for Windows Phone

A lot of our devices are capable of running 3D games, but there's something about games in old-school pixel graphics that we seem to like. Javelin Masters does not have intense graphics, but it's really fun to play. You play as a javelin thrower. The goal is to throw it as far as you can. We've installed this free game on our Nokia Lumia 930. Watch the gameplay video to see if it's something you'd play.
Custom Windows OS coming to Intel Galileo to power Internet of Things

Microsoft is promising to deliver a custom version of its ubiquitous Windows operating system to developers who own Intel's Galileo, which can be used to power and connect to other devices. Essentially, Galileo is like a Raspberry Pi for Windows developers to use to power the next generation of the Internet of Things.

Starting on Friday, Microsoft began to sell the new Surface Pro 3 Docking Station at various retail locations. So besides being a laptop and tablet replacement, your Surface Pro 3 can do triple duty as a full desktop replacement too.
The $199 accessory is by no means 'cheap' – in terms of either price or quality – but it is awesome. I managed to grab one from my local Microsoft Store in Natick, MA. Here are my initial thoughts, including a hands on video.

Update While the deputy mayor of Munich seems to suggest in the article that the government will strongly consider a return to Windows, it appears a final decision to move from the Linux OS has not yet been officially determined.

Store displays for HTC One M8 for Windows on Verizon are ready for Tuesday

Ahead of HTC's press event in New York City on Tuesday, at least one Verizon Wireless retail store is getting ready for the launch of the Windows Phone version of the HTC One M8 with a store display that will also be going live tomorrow.
An email from a WPCentral reader included the image, which he told us was for a Verizon Wireless store display somewhere in Virgina that will be put in place on Tuesday. In a rather interesting development, the display notes that the phone is available both for Windows and Android.
