It's finally here. A high-end Android device has received a Windows Phone makeover. Earlier today HTC announced the new HTC One (M8) for Windows smartphone. It's the same phone like the HTC One (M8), but instead of running Android it's powered by the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1.

July and August have been slow months for Xbox One releases. We got Guacamelee and Sniper Elite III (both excellent, both also available on Xbox 360) but the well dried up for a bit after that.
Luckily, today sees two new and very different titles released: Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition from Blizzard Entertainment launches both at retail and for download on Xbox One and retail-only on 360. Meanwhile, the Xbox One gets its second golf game: The Golf Club from Nova Scotia, Canada-based HB Studios. The Golf Club is an ID@Xbox release and can be downloaded for $34.99.

Microsoft has just released a new, but small, firmware update for its Surface Pro 3 tablet, just a week after it released a larger update for the 12 inch Windows 8.1 device during "Patch Tuesday."

Update: We have gotten a number of other tips indicating the Cyan update is now being rolled out for the Lumia 920 in other parts of the world, including India, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and the UAE.
Original story: The official Nokia Canada Twitter page has just posted word that the Lumia Cyan software update is now rolling out to owners of the Lumia 920 smartphone up in the Great White North.

HTC just announced their latest Windows Phone – the HTC One (M8) for Windows. It's the exact same phone as their HTC One (M8) that they released earlier this running Android. One area of the device that's really interesting is the camera. The HTC One M8 camera has received mixed reviews since it launched. So we decided to test it out for ourselves in a quick shootout with the Lumia Icon and Samsung ATIV SE.

One year after Steve Ballmer announced he would retire as CEO of Microsoft, and six months after he was replaced in that position by Satya Nadella, the company has now revealed Ballmer has also left its Board of Directors as well.

Microsoft has released a new update to the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 for smartphone owners who have installed the Developer Preview version of the OS, bringing the version number up to 8.10.14157.200.

Today HTC and Verizon announced the HTC One (M8) for Windows. It's a new smartphone running the latest version of Windows Phone 8.1. It's the same HTC One that launched earlier this year running Android, which means the same number of accessories will work with today's device.
