TimesCity gets a major update; brings table booking and improved search experience

TimesCity.com, a Times Internet service, allows you to access information about restaurants, nightlife spots and movie theatres around you. Available for eleven cities in India as of now, the app helps you search and find restaurants and pubs to decide where to eat and party as well as the latest movie showtimes.

The official TimesCity app arrived on the Windows Phone Store in April this year, and has just been bumped to v2.0.0.0.

Every now and then a new game developer joins the Windows Phone ecosystem and you just wonder how we ever lived without them. One such company is Owlchemy Labs, a small studio who recently published two stellar games: Smuggle Truck, a 2D driving/stunt game, and Jack Lumber, the best lumberjack game on the market.

Last week, our Jack Lumber review reminded some of our readers of Monty Python's Flying Circus. So "Hey," we thought. Microsoft's shut down of Xbox's original TV content plans upsets top ad buyers

A number of major advertising buyers are not happy with Microsoft's decision on Thursday to slowly shut down its Xbox Entertainment Studios division and cancel most of its plans to offer original television style content for Xbox Live users.
