Microsoft's Surface Mini does exist, at least according to the Surface Pro 3 user manual

Microsoft has inadvertently confirmed the existence of the Surface Mini in a user manual for the Surface Pro 3, which was recently published on the company's website. The Surface Mini is an interesting device that failed to show up at the Surface Pro 3 event after Microsoft emphasized on the event being "small". Unfortunately, the company failed to shed light on whether or not such a device exists and if it will be available for purchase at some point in the future.
Surface Pro 3 with Core i7 and Core i3s arriving early on August 1st

Today kicks of sales of the Surface Pro 3 online and from authorized retailers in the US and Canada. Currently, only the Core i5 version is available for sale with the Core i7 and Core i3 variants expected at the end of August. However, in a post on the Surface Blog, Panos Panay revealed some good news for those eagerly waiting for those versions, as the date has been bumped up from end of August to "ships by August 1st".
Although customers will still have to wait 40 more days, Microsoft looks to have shaven off nearly a month from the original anticipated ship date.

Microsoft has their docking station for the Surface Pro 3 up for pre-order on their online store. The dock is designed exclusively for the Surface Pro 3, and has several ports to turn your new Surface into a full desktop experience. Expected ship date is August 15.

T-Mobile CEO John Legere has given an update on the carrier's recent Un-carrier 5.0 and Un-carrier 6.0 announcements. Un-carrier 5.0 was the announcement of T-Mobile Test Drive, which lets people try T-Mobile's network for free. Un-carrier 6.0 was Music Freedom, which lets customers use several music services without that data usage counting against their high-speed data limit.

Does the Surface Pro 3 really replace your laptop? Microsoft makes some bold moves with their new Surface design but it remains to be seen if people will buy it.
Microsoft has big goals and a new message for the Surface Pro 3. Instead of attempting to compete with the all-popular iPad from Apple, they're targeting laptop owners and wannabe in-betweeners. Emblazoned everywhere is their new motto: 'The tablet that can replace your laptop." So have Microsoft achieved this goal with the redesigned Surface Pro 3?
After spending four weeks with the Surface Pro 3, I think for the most part the answer is a resilient 'yes', but it won't necessarily convince diehard laptop users to switch. Regardless, it's an impressive, category-defining device, even if there's limited adoption by the masses.
