On June 21, developer Rudy Huyn re-released his Windows Phone Tinder client, changing the name from 6tindr to just 6tin. The move follows a six-month gap between when Huyn began speaking with the Tinder team to make his app the official client for Windows Phone. Talks failed to materialize an app, so 6tin was released instead.

We love it when more official apps arrive the Windows Phone Store. AlAhli Bank (alahli.com), also known as The National Commercial Bank, has just released their official app for Windows Phone. They're the first Saudi Arabian bank and the largest bank by asset in the Arab world. There are currently 329 branches throughout the Kingdom with more than 3.5 million clients.

Arcus Motion, a Hungary-based company, has launched a Kickstarter fund raising campaign for the Arcus Motion Analyzer, a "smart ring" that it claims can be used as both an activity tracker as well as a motion gesture controller for several platforms.
Spotify hits version 3.1 with bug fixes in tow for Windows Phone 8.1

Back in May, popular music streaming service Spotify finally released its massive 3.0 update, bringing a new UI redesign, Spotify radio and Discover. However, like all big updates this one brought with it some unforeseen stability issues and problems, especially with those running Windows Phone 8.1 Preview for Developers. Spotify 3.1 is now in the Store ready to be downloaded and with it a nice changelog of fixes and improvements.
Foursquare app for Windows Phone blocked to download for some Lumia 1520 owners

The official Foursquare app for Windows Phone has had a rough week. A featureless update released on June 24 seemed innocuous enough until users on the Lumia 1520 and Lumia Icon had problems launching the refreshed app. The problem seemed limited at first, until a small patch update, version 3.5.8, hit the Store, reportedly fixing the crashes. That 3.5.8 update, nonetheless, is unable to be downloaded by those with a Lumia 1520, revealing an "Item not available" message.
France carrier SFR to offer Windows Phone 8.1 update July 8

SFR, one of France's wireless carriers, is reporting that it will begin its over-the-air update to Windows Phone 8.1 on July 8. It will include the Cortana digital assistant feature, although it won't be enabled for French-speaking folks until sometime in early 2015.
